Beautiful Watercolour By The Scottish Artist Irvine Russell Of Scottish Village/town scene
Irvine Russell was born in Paisley in 1938, the son of Paisley artist John Russell. From an initial interest in art through a local art club he began to paint more seriously in oils in the mid 1960’s. In due course he graduated to watercolours, which have remained his preferred medium.
This depicts a Scottish town/village river scene possibly Peebles on the borders
