Hilary Scoffield was a contemporary artist who enjoyed an enviable reputation in her field. After leaving school and art classes Hilary Scoffield became a full time artist by selling her paintings in local galleries. The demand for her paintings grew to the extent that most of her work was sold overseas. Many of her paintings have been reproduced in the Limited Edition print market. Her work consisted mainly of landscapes and flowers, both in watercolour and oils. Her paintings are now much sought after.
