Born in South Wales in 1954, moved to England aged two. Now living in Halesworth, Suffolk. Lee worked for many years in the fashion industry designing for her shop. Changed direction twelve years ago to become an obsessive and driven artist. Essentially an intuitive painter, Lee responds to colour, texture and mood. Most of her work is from her imagination, half remembered images, people she has seen in a world that always seems to border on farce. Currently working in ink, charcoal and collage.
