Saliann Putnam RWS, NEAC born 1937, paints in watercolour, oil and pastel. Her subjects include still life interiors and landscape, but she believes anything is paintable if bathed in a sympathetic light.In 1989 she won the Willi Hoffmann-Guth prize for the best paint conveying the quality of light. In 1990 she won the Royal Watercolour Society Award Open Exhibition -Chris Beetles Award. In 2006 she won the NEAC-Alresford Gallery Award. Exhibited works at the RWS, NEAC the Pastel Society and the RA. ’Summer Flowers in a Glass Vase’ signed oil on board.
