An Antique 19th Century Sampler Worked by Charlotte Robinson June 18th, 1803.
When all the mercies,O my God
My rising Soul surveys
Transported with thy view I’m lost
In Wonder, Love, and Praise
To all my weak complants and cries
The Mercy. lent an ear
When yet my feebie thoughts had learnt
To form themselves in prayer
When nature fails and day and night
Divide the works no more
My ever Grateful heart, O Lord
Thy mercy shall adore
To Thee whose temple is all space
Whose altar, earth, sea, skies,
One chorus let all being raise
All Nature's incense rise
