Artist Biography

Richard Williams is an accomplished American artist recognised for his sensitive treatment of natural subjects, particularly floral compositions and watercolours.

His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and internationally.

According to the accompanying artist biography, Williams was selected by the University of Southern Mississippi for its Oral History Program, with his life and artistic achievements recorded for its archives.

He is also listed in Who’s Who in American Art.

During President Jimmy Carter’s administration, Williams reportedly produced a painting for the White House collection, which was presented to the Carter family.
