This example is the sixteenth revised edition (Zestiende verbeterde druk), published in ’s-Gravenhage & Batavia, 1940 by G.B. van Goor Zonen’s Uitgeversmaatschappij N.V.
An impressive and substantial reference work, produced to a high standard and reflecting the scholarly importance of Kramer’s dictionaries in the early 20th century. Particularly interesting as a pre-/early WWII era publication, adding notable historical context.
Condition:
In sound antique condition consistent with age and use. General toning and spotting to pages, some wear to the binding and edges, and signs of handling throughout, as clearly shown in the photographs. No loose pages noted. Overall a solid, complete copy suitable for collection, study, or display.
