This original vintage HMV (His Master's Voice) portable gramophone is a classic piece of audio equipment from the early 20th century. This gramophone features a hand-crank mechanism, which is used to wind up the internal spring motor that powers the turntable. The device also has a large horn, which amplifies the sound produced by the needle as it tracks along the grooves of a vinyl record. The portable design of this gramophone, often featuring a sturdy wooden case with a handle, made it easy for people to bring music with them wherever they went. The HMV logo, featuring the iconic image of a dog listening to a gramophone, is a hallmark of this classic brand.
