Galerie Mourlot founded in 1852, the Atelier Mourlot was originally a producer of fine wallpaper but came to be known for fine art lithographic printing in the early 20th century. Located in Paris the founder's grandson, Fernand Mourlot invited some of the most celebrated artists of the time to his studio to collaborate on traditional limestone lithography. Artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Joan Miro, Mare Chagall, Fernand Leger, Jean Dubuffet, Henry Moore and Le Corbusier worked with Fernand to produce unique and visually striking lithographs that were used as posters to promote the artist's work or exhibitions.
