A Victorian style green glass cylindrical apothecary jar, with armoured crest inscribed 'Zingib' and a lovely fitted gilt circular cover lid.
This jar is a commemorative piece, made by Carlyle Fine Productions. Commissioned by the RPS and NPA produced in limited quantities to mark the 150th anniversary of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's founding in 1841. Apothecary jars like this are not only functional but also serve as decorative pieces, reflecting the history of pharmacy and medicine
