A superb 1950s Moorcroft table lamp decorated in the iconic Hibiscus pattern, designed by Walter Moorcroft. This classic design is one of Moorcroft’s most recognisable and enduring patterns, prized for its bold floral motif and rich, lustrous glaze.
The ceramic body is beautifully hand-decorated with a large coral-pink hibiscus flower and green foliage against a deep green ground, displaying the depth of colour and quality synonymous with Moorcroft. The lamp is mounted on an ornate metal base with floral detailing and has a matching decorative metal column, giving it an elegant and substantial presence.
A highly decorative and collectible piece that works equally well as a statement lamp or as part of a Moorcroft pottery collection.
