A striking pair of original signed prints by Dennis Orme-Shaw, presented as a complementary duo. These atmospheric works depict abstract coastal or shoreline scenes with elongated figures, using soft washes of colour and expressive vertical movement.
The palette features gentle blues, ochres, creams and rich reds, creating a sense of depth, light and reflection – typical of Orme-Shaw’s evocative, semi-abstract style. Each print is signed by the artist in the lower margin.
Dennis Orme Shaw was born in Cookstown, County Tyrone in 1944 and studied at the Belfast College of Art from 1962 to 1967. Recognised for his use of vibrant colours, Orme Shaw's work has explored numerous subjects including landscapes, still life scenes and figurative studies. Whilst exhibiting widely across Ireland, Orme Shaw was presented with the Silver Award Medal from the Royal Ulster Academy.
Both prints are professionally mounted and housed in matching silver-toned frames with gilt inner slips, ready to hang and ideal for modern, coastal or contemporary interiors. They work beautifully as a pair but could also be displayed separately.
