A beautifully executed still life oil painting depicting an abundant bouquet of mixed flowers arranged in a classical urn, set against a dark atmospheric ground. The composition features tulips, irises, carnations and other blooms, painted with lovely detail and depth — very much in the Dutch / Continental Old Master revival style.
The painting is signed lower right (appears “Zon” / similar – please see photos) and is presented in its original decorative gilt frame, which complements the artwork perfectly and gives it strong wall presence.
This is a substantial, traditional decorative painting — ideal for period interiors, country houses, or as a statement piece.
Good vintage condition overall. Light age-related wear to frame and surface consistent with age. Some white specs appear in the lower part of the painting but these do appear to wipe away but will leave this for new owner to take a look at. Please study photos as they form part of the description.
