Bio

Elio Vitali (c.1900–1970s) was an Italian painter born in Florence, a city long associated with artistic tradition and classical training. He spent much of his life working as both an artist and a teacher, sharing his skills with students alongside producing his own works.


Vitali is best known for his decorative oil paintings, particularly floral still lifes—most commonly roses—which he rendered in soft, romantic tones with a gentle, atmospheric quality. His work reflects a traditional European style, appealing to mid-20th century tastes for elegant, timeless interiors.
