Francis Russell Flint ‘My Father Painting at Brantome’ Limited Edition Print Art

A highly collectible and beautifully composed limited edition print by renowned British artist Francis Russell Flint (1915–1977), titled “My Father Painting at Brantome.”

This charming and atmospheric scene captures his father, the celebrated artist Sir William Russell Flint, painting beside the river in the picturesque town of Brantôme in the Dordogne, France. The composition is full of light, movement, and gentle storytelling — a wonderful example of Flint’s refined draughtsmanship and sensitivity to place.

Francis Russell Flint writes—

"Brantôme is one of the most paintable towns in France. Here my Father painted often, and once I was with him. At his happiest we chose the same subject, this is my impression of him at work, as always in warm weather discarding his jacket and wearing his tatty old blue pork-pie hat and weskit."

Reproduced by colour collotype, printed in Austria, as a limited International edition of 850 copies in Artist Signed Proof form only
