Ira Moskowitz (1912–2001) was an internationally collected American artist best known for his vibrant depictions of Jewish life, biblical scenes, celebrations and traditional cultural subjects. Born in Poland before emigrating to the United States, Moskowitz studied at the Art Students League in New York and became renowned for his expressive use of colour and movement.


His works often capture joyful ceremonies, musicians, weddings and religious gatherings, blending folk-art charm with modernist influences. Over his long career he exhibited widely and produced paintings, lithographs and limited edition prints that remain highly collectible today.
