A beautiful vintage split cane fishing rod by J. Peek & Son, The Grays Inn, London, presented in very good vintage condition and complete with its original cloth carrying bag.
This classic 4-piece rod features finely crafted split cane sections with attractive red whipping and traditional fittings throughout. The rod displays the quality workmanship associated with British tackle makers of the early 20th century and would make an excellent addition to a vintage fishing tackle collection or be suitable for display.
The cork handle remains in good condition with age-related wear consistent with careful use, while the cane sections appear straight and well preserved. Original decals and markings are still visible, including the J. Peek & Son – Grays Inn – London label.
