A beautiful antique Art Nouveau brass picture frame dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, featuring the classic flowing lines and organic forms associated with the Art Nouveau movement.
The frame is richly decorated with a graceful female maiden figure leaning thoughtfully against one side, surrounded by stylised floral and foliate motifs. The elegant whiplash curves and naturalistic decoration are characteristic of the period and make this an attractive display piece in its own right.
