A handsome Edwardian mahogany Canterbury dating from the early 20th century, featuring four divided sections designed for storing magazines, newspapers or sheet music. The elegant curved rails, turned supports and finial tops are typical of the period and give the piece a refined appearance.
The Canterbury stands on its original brass cup castors, allowing it to be moved easily, and includes a useful full-width drawer to the base fitted with decorative brass ring handles. The rich mahogany timber displays a lovely warm colour and attractive grain throughout.
