Vintage Scalextric Pole Position Formula 1 Racing Track Set Boxed 2 Cars Retro
Classic vintage Scalextric “Pole Position” electric motor racing set, complete with its wonderfully nostalgic original illustrated box.
The set includes a good selection of original Scalextric components, including two Formula 1-style racing cars – one red No.19 and one black No.20, various straight and curved track sections, raised/banked sections, controllers, power supply/electrical components, lap counter, barriers/accessories, decals and original instruction leaflet.
The enclosed instruction leaflet is dated/referenced 1977, although I cannot confirm that this is the exact manufacturing date of the complete set.
The set has been stored for many years and is being sold untested. I have not assembled the complete circuit or checked the cars and electrical components, so it is sold as seen and may require cleaning, servicing or attention.
I also cannot guarantee that the set is 100% complete, although it looks it so please study the photographs carefully. Everything included in the sale is shown. I think the lap counter is additional
The original box has wear from age and storage, including scuffing, creasing, edge/corner damage and some tears, but importantly it is still present and retains the superb Pole Position Scalextric racing artwork.
A fantastic piece of vintage Scalextric nostalgia and an ideal set for a collector, enthusiast, restoration project or display.
