Michael Lyne Original Drawing “Whippet” Signed Sporting Dog Art Framed

An attractive original drawing by British sporting artist Michael Lyne (1912–1989), entitled “Whippet.”

The work depicts three studies of a whippet in different poses, beautifully capturing the movement, character and anatomy of the dog.

Signed by Michael Lyne to the lower left of the original artwork, with the title “WHIPPET” by Michael Lyne displayed beneath.

This is an original work rather than a print, making it a particularly appealing piece for collectors of Michael Lyne, British sporting art, dog pictures and whippet/greyhound-related artwork.

Presented under glass with its original-style mount and a simple gilt/wood-effect frame.

There is some age-related discolouration, spotting and general wear to the mount, as visible in the photographs. The drawing itself presents well for its age. Please study the photographs as they form an important part of the condition description.
