Vintage Dinky Toys 169 Studebaker Golden Hawk Green & Cream Diecast Car
Original vintage Dinky Toys No. 169 Studebaker Golden Hawk, made in England by Meccano Ltd.
A lovely classic Dinky model finished in an attractive two-tone green and cream colour scheme, with cream wheels and original-style detailing. The underside is clearly marked:
DINKY TOYS – STUDEBAKER – GOLDEN HAWK – MADE IN ENGLAND – MECCANO LTD
This model dates from around the late 1950s/early 1960s rather than simply circa 1950; the Studebaker Golden Hawk itself was introduced in the mid-1950s.
The model is in genuine played-with vintage condition, with age-related paint wear, marks, particularly around the edges and raised areas. The cream sections and wheels show some age-related discolouration. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.
A very attractive original example and a great addition to a collection of Dinky Toys, Meccano, Studebaker or vintage diecast vehicles.
