Illustrated throughout with numerous black-and-white examples together with attractive colour plates.

An interesting feature of this particular set is the different coloured cloth bindings, with one volume in green and the other in blue. Both have attractive and elaborate gilt decoration and lettering, giving the books considerable decorative appeal as well as their value as reference works.
Condition:
These are vintage books approaching 100 years old and consequently show age-related wear.
There is rubbing and general shelf wear to the covers. Internally there is some age-related marking and damage to some of the pages within both volumes where the pages appear to have been cut but still in tact so you can still read the pages
Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description and show the books, bindings and internal condition in detail.
Despite the faults, this remains a very attractive and increasingly difficult-to-find complete two-volume 1926 Third Edition set, and an excellent reference for anyone interested in antique ceramics, pottery and porcelain.
A handsome addition to a collector’s library, ceramics dealer’s reference collection or period interior.
