Vintage S.T. Dupont Gatsby Silver Plated Lighter Vertical Godron Pattern Made in France
A superb vintage S.T. Dupont Gatsby gas lighter, made in France and finished in an elegant silver-plated vertical godron / vertical line pattern.
This is the desirable Gatsby model, a classic S.T. Dupont design with its distinctive rectangular proportions, finely textured vertical decoration and beautifully engineered mechanism. The Gatsby range has become increasingly collectable among enthusiasts of vintage S.T. Dupont lighters.
The underside is clearly marked:
S.T. Dupont de Paris
Made in France
It also carries the S.T. Dupont maker’s mark and the individually stamped serial number E7AU04.
Measures approx 6.2 x 3.7cm
The lighter is in good working condition. The mechanism operates correctly and it simply requires refilling with butane gas before use. It will be supplied empty of gas for postage.
Being a vintage pre-owned lighter, there are surface scratches, marks and general signs of use, particularly to the base, as clearly shown in the photographs. Please study all photographs as they form part of the condition description.
A particularly attractive example of the S.T. Dupont Gatsby, with its understated silver-plated finish and distinctive vertical godron pattern — ideal for an S.T. Dupont collector or collector of vintage luxury smoking accessories.
