Stunning Vintage Butterfly Wing Art Wooden Serving Tray with Inlaid Border
$266.48
A stunning and highly unusual vintage wooden serving tray featuring an exquisite arrangement of genuine butterfly and moth wings, beautifully displayed beneath a protective glazed panel and surrounded by an intricate geometric wood-inlaid border.
This remarkable piece showcases a wonderfully detailed, symmetrical butterfly-wing composition, with delicate natural patterns in shades of brown, bronze, cream and grey, enhanced by striking golden-yellow detailing.
The craftsmanship is particularly appealing, with a beautifully shaped wooden frame, elegant rounded ends, integral cut-out carrying handles and finely executed decorative wood inlay surrounding the central display.
The butterfly-wing artwork has been carefully arranged to create an elaborate, almost kaleidoscopic design, making this a fascinating example of vintage decorative craftsmanship.
The underside retains its traditional black-painted backing board, secured with screws, adding to the character of the piece.
