Vintage Black Forest Style Hand Carved Wooden Bears Pair Rustic Wildlife Figures
$105.19
A charming pair of vintage Black Forest style carved wooden bears, featuring wonderfully expressive faces and intricately detailed fur.
Inspired by the traditional European Black Forest woodcarving tradition, these attractive figures display the rustic charm and craftsmanship associated with Alpine decorative carvings.
Each bear is depicted standing on all fours, with one featuring an open mouth showing its teeth, while the other has its head lowered in a naturalistic pose.
The deeply carved fur creates an attractive textured appearance, complemented by a rich dark brown finish with lighter highlights that emphasise the detailing.
Measure approx 15cm long x 11cm high
These are vintage pieces showing signs of age, wear and some damage.
* The bear on the left has missing glass eyes.
* The bear on the right retains its eyes.
* There are chips and small nibbles around the ear areas.
* The bear on the right has a chip to the underside of its mouth area.
* General age-related surface wear, marks and minor imperfections throughout.
Despite these imperfections, the bears remain highly decorative and retain plenty of rustic charm.
