Beautiful Vintage Set of Firmin & Sons Buttons with the Worshipful Company Of Haberdashers Coat of Arms.
Motto: Serve and Obey. Arms: Barry Wavy of six argent and azure, on a bend gules a lion passant.
Crest: on a wreath of the colours. Issuing from clouds two naked arms elbowed holding a laurel wreath.
Supporters: on either side a goat of India argent, flecked gules.
Made by Firmin & Sons. The Arms were officially granted on the 13th December 1503 to replace an earlier grant of 16th July 1446; they were confirmed and crest and supporters granted on the 8th November 1570.
This set is in pristine condition.
